5 Ways to Prevent Cancer

As a rule of thumb, aim for 2.5 hours of aerobic exercise each week. You can also substitute this for an hour and 15 minutes of vigorous physical activity each week. 4. Wear sun protection.

You don’t have to stay inside in order to avoid the harmful rays of the sun. You just need to be a bit more informed about how to protect yourself while outside. Try to stay out of the sun between the hours of 10AM and 4PM, and keep a sunglasses and a brimmed hat nearby. Always lather yourself in sunscreen if you know you’ll be outside for more than a few moments during the day. Never visit tanning salons, as the bulbs in the beds are just as harmful as the sun’s rays.

5. Practice smart behaviors.

Living life in a reckless manner is notorious for provoking the onset of cancer. You can eliminate your chances of the development of various types of cancer by practicing safe sex, not sharing needles in relation to tattooing and drug usage, and more.
